Hello! Joey here! I am here to say that I am sorry that I haven't been awesome as of late. I haven't done much in sketchin' which is a lack of my updates, but I will start making up for it for now on! I will also post pages of some sites and inspirations that I use to create my artwork and make me go the extra distance for my art!
First up! Webcomics.com!
Webcomics.com is a website that is cobbled together by the top dogs of webcomics! The webcomics.com/Halfpixel group consists of Brad Guigar, creator of Evil Inc; Dave Kellett, creator of Sheldon Comics; Scott Kurtz of PVP, and Kris Straub of Starslip. These guys run a article based site that provide tips and tricks to get started in getting in the webcomics industry, an industry that is leading the way as far as comic strips are concerned. These guys know that webcomics are on the way in and syndicated and newspaper comics are on its way out! I find so many cool tricks for my own webcomic to use and they are great teaching and helping people out when they can! Totally check that site out!
To show you how they have inspired me, I have here a "reboot" of my webcomic, "A Dude Named Joey". I hope to get my website running soon and and to be hosting my webcomics on its own site and to start getting some fans around here! I also hope to get my comic published in the Daily Lobo! If any of you have any info on that, please let me know! I'll be trying to get info from the streets as well! Anyways, here's my strip! Enjoy!
